Matt Schulz- President

Born in Southern California but raised in Portland, Matt has lived in Bauer Highlands since 2002. He has been involved with the Bauer Highlands HOA since it was turned over to our community five years ago by chairing the Architectural Review Committee, serving as a Board Director and recently became President of the HOA earlier this year. When not striving for a better community, Matt plays on two co-ed soccer teams with his wife of eleven years, enjoys photography and raising their two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.

Taylor Pappas- Secretary

After growing up in Atlanta, Georgia and graduating from Georgia Tech, Taylor moved to San Francisco and worked in the high tech, healthcare industry as a marketing professional for 10 years. Her family moved up to Portland 6 years ago after moving into Bauer Highlands and is now proud to be called an Oregonian. Her past HOA experience includes working as the chair of the architect and election committees for her previous HOA in Oakland, California where her husband resided as President. Currently, she is a full time stay-at-home mom of 2 beautiful girls, aged 6 and 3, and is involved with a local community of other moms, as well as, Findley Elementary. She is extremely excited to be newly elected to the Board and is determined to support our homeowners in the best way possible. She looks forward to bringing the Bauer Highlands homeowners together and hopes to create a new sense of "community" for our wonderful neighborhood!

David Gorman- Treasurer

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dave first moved to Oregon to attend the University of Oregon where he fell in love with everything Oregon and shortly moved to Portland after graduation. Dave and his wife, Andrea, have lived in Bauer Highlands since 2004 with their 2 energetic little boys and 1 even more energetic Yellow Lab. He has been involved with the Board for the past 5 years serving previously as President and currently as Treasurer. Dave has a passion for our community and is striving to improve that family atmosphere and enjoys seeing all of the residents out walking on a nice sunny day. Outside of Bauer Highlands, Dave enjoys playing sports, running and spending time with his family

Jack Burri- Director

Jack is a retired educator, dad to three adult children and grandpa to four young lads and a new sweet granddaughter. Born in Portland to Swiss parents, he grew up when street cars embraced the city and neighbors kept kids in line and out of trouble. Jack met his partner, Mary Jo, ten years ago. They attended the same grade school and moved to Bauer Highlands in 2005. Over the years, he has been involved with many civic organizations, held office in state-wide organizations and has enjoyed being involved with the well being of the community in which they live. Some of Jack's passions are fishing, gardening and travel.

Eric Peng- Director

Eric has served on the Bauer Highlands HOA for over a year and is the current chair of the Architectural Review Committee. After moving into the community 5 years ago, he has been active in helping build the community into a safe and fun environment. He resides with his wife, Cynthia and their daughter and looks forward to continuing his efforts to keep Bauer Highlands a great community to live. He is also an avid sports fan and loves being outdoors.
